OYO Rooms Tarabai Park Kolhapur

The hotel staff were a big help in making our get-together enjoyable, and the warm hospitality made it memorable. The arrangements at Hotel Woodland, Tarabai Park, Kolhapur were well managed for our function on 23 may 2026.

The only thing that bothered us was how the bed lamp and plug switch were linked. Whenever we plugged something in, the lamp had to be on too, whether charging a phone or using the kettle. Aside from that, nothing to complain about. We had a pleasant stay, enjoyed the restaurant food and nice breakfast spread, and found the staff polite and helpful. There weren’t any mosquitoes on the lawn 😂. Thanks Woodland team.

I’ve been a regular at Hotel Woodland, Kolhapur for 12 years and usually choose it for dining, so yesterday’s visit was really disappointing. We were still there at a reasonable time, but the waiters seemed eager to close and rushed us. They weren’t attentive, and we had to ask two or three times for basic things before they arrived late. It felt like we were being hurried instead of served properly. Hotels used to have to close sharply at 11 PM, but that restriction is gone now and they can stay open late or all night. So I don’t see why customers had to be rushed or why proper service was avoided. I expected better hospitality and professionalism as a loyal customer of over a decade. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the service so long-time customers don’t feel ignored.

The kids’ play area needs work. There was only one slide, and it got overcrowded for a hotel this size. Food also felt overpriced for the taste and portion size, and the quality wasn’t quite what we expected. The ambience, though, was pleasant and well maintained, and the overall stay at Hotel Woodland was average. It’s a decent property, but the value could be better, especially for food and family amenities.
