The location is the best thing about this hotel. I stayed with my family for a few days over year end. The room was OK, but the toilets badly need renovation or better upkeep. Spider webs were hanging all around. The service was notably good, and the counter staff were helpful. Still, the management should take the reviews seriously. A reputed hotel needs consistency in both service and pricing. During the peak period, the daily rates kept changing, and they wouldn't take advance payment for several days. I guess that's common across hotels in kolhapur during peak time.

The bathroom smelled bad and wasn't clean, and the room had a bad smell too. When I gave feedback, the reception guy didn't even respond courteously. Food was also expensive compared with other hotels, and we later found out there were good hotels nearby. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. I'd rate it below 1. We were with family on New Year's Day and took a 4+1 room. The response from reception was very poor. Since we had no other options, we booked, but were charged more than the online price. He asked for cash and didn't give us a bill, saying he'd get GST charges. The next day he charged 25 rupees for a water bottle. When we questioned it, he said those were the hotel's rules and started arguing.

The room we got looked nothing like the one shown online. It was cramped and dirty, and there wasn't a proper blanket.

The staff were arrogant, and the rooms were dirty and smelled awful. It was expensive too. Avoid this hotel.

The room smelled so bad it felt suffocating, and the toilet wasn't hygienic. The building is old, with old amenities, an old bed and old room paint. There was no kettle for hot water.
