Ashreen Guest House

We only stayed three to four hours before checking out because the room’s condition and stench made it hard to relax. We had to find another hotel nearby. The online photos were old, and the Executive Room had deteriorated. Wallpaper was held together with cellotape, the towels looked like they’d once been white, and there was a snail in the bathroom. The room smelled foul, and the minibar needed cleaning. The TV and AC worked fine, and the staff were polite. We were told we’d have to buy water if we needed it. Food could be ordered through swiggy/ zomato.

A nice little hotel in a central spot, tucked away on a quiet side alley. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, the beds comfy, the shower warm, and the airco worked well.

Everything was 5/5, and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. It’s very budget friendly, especially for solo travellers, though couples would enjoy it too. The staff were superb, answered all my questions, and helped however they could. The location was great with everything close by. My room was comfortable, nice, and clean, and the shower was one of the best I’ve had in months. Wifi worked very well. You could buy cold or room temperature water bottles at reception, and they even gave me hot water for my morning coffee. Thank you!

We stayed at Ashreen Guest House in July'25, and the location was excellent, with easy access to markets and nearby tourist places. The affordable price was a pleasant surprise. Our Executive room was a bit old, but clean and hygienic. I’d recommend it to people watching their budget.
