Hotel O Majestic Stays

There was no Wi-Fi, and although the room had an AC and TV, neither worked. I paid 1300 for a non-AC room that was dusty, cramped, and unclean, with a smelly bedsheet, torn bathroom fittings, and cobwebs everywhere. They kept changing the price and said it was because of the season. The online price was misleading, and the photos look years out of date. No towel, soap, drinking water, or other basics were provided. Used alcohol bottles were stacked around. This was a miserable stay. They should learn how to host guests properly or set prices that match the state of the place.

The room was filthy, with badly stained sheets and pillows, and there were no towels or toiletries. On arrival, the owner demanded extra money, then told me to contact OYO customer care when I challenged it, as if sorting it out were my responsibility. If they won't honor Oyo bookings, why call the place "Oyo home majestic stays"? A terrible experience. Don't book here.

The TV seemed to be there just for show; the support guy said it didn't work and that no rooms had working TVs. The only person available to help didn't understand our language, and they gave me no bill. I later found out there were other rooms nearby at lower rates with better accommodation, so I'll book somewhere else next time. I was charged more than the prepaid booking price, which hadn't been mentioned in the app. I had little choice because I arrived late and needed to get to work, so I stayed for two days at the amount I'd already paid. Finding the place was difficult because the directions and phone number weren't updated. The owner acted like a local gunda. Nothing good to say about this horrible stay. I really want OYO to remove it from the platform. My advice to others is to avoid it, though the choice is yours.

The rooms were very dirty. If you book online, they may ask for more money when you get there, leaving you stuck after bringing your luggage and paying for a taxi. I found several other properties in Trivandrum doing the same thing, so I'd avoid Oyo properties. This owner has around 10 properties.
