I keep choosing this place for the good connectivity. The owner and staff are polite too.

Could someone share the hotel's contact details? I don't want to risk losing money by booking through a website.

The internet worked well, and the manager was nice in his own way, though he turned out to be quite greedy. The place felt creepy from the entrance and reception to the corridors and rooms. It was dirty and run down everywhere, with mold and debris in the bathroom and sticky surfaces throughout the room. The closet smelled awful and wouldn't open. You had to be brave just to touch a handle. Reception is supposedly open 24 hours, but only for the website.

After an hour of calls and back-and-forth with MMT, we finally reached higher executives and were promised a refund. By then, the whole thing had been humiliating and mentally exhausting. We had booked a non-refundable stay through MMT at Hotel Bengal. The staff first let us check in, then asked us to leave barely 15 minutes later, saying, “MMT is not paying us enough for this booking.” When MMT called to ask what was happening, the hotel said we were leaving on our own, leaving us stranded while the two sides passed the responsibility around. The staff then argued loudly, used abusive language, and made accusations we say were false. On another call with MMT, they claimed our valid Aadhaar cards were unclear and accused us of misbehaving. It felt like excuses to avoid taking responsibility. Please think carefully before booking here, especially through MakeMyTrip. Hotel Bengal was rude, manipulative, and highly unprofessional in our experience. MakeMyTrip should value customers more than hotels like this. A genuine problem shouldn't take constant follow-up and escalation to resolve. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
