The rooms are clean, with good AC, a water heater and a decent wardrobe set. The kitchen is well equipped too. There’s a large dining table for eight, a pleasant Swamy room and a wooden swing that add to the homely feel. It seems child friendly. Staff are considerate and available at the property around the clock, and the owner responds quickly. Padmanabhasamy temple is about 10 minutes away. You can take Uber or Ola, or call an auto. There aren't restaurants nearby, though Zomato and Swiggy cover most places. The room TVs don't work, and some rooms don't have one.

Kumar was a big help to our group of 13. He kindly let us keep one room for another 2-3 hours after the regular checkout time, which made things easier for everyone. The staff were hospitable, and the whole stay went smoothly. The rooms were clean and well maintained, a comfortable place to relax after our busy schedule. Our team enjoyed staying here.

It was easy to reach the main tourist spots and shopping areas from Malar Homes, and the surroundings were quiet. After a day out, it was a peaceful place to unwind. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with the amenities I needed. The homely atmosphere would suit families or solo travellers. I had a fantastic stay and would gladly return to Malar Homes in Thiruvananthapuram.
