Dreamz Hotel

The reception person spoke rudely, and management seemed absent. There were crawling insects in the room, a terrible smell, and a very dirty bathroom. The bed and chairs were dirty too. They wouldn’t give us a towel or blanket even after we asked for five people. There was no water, no real facilities, and the AC barely worked; there was no hot water either. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in and my worst experience. I’m never booking this third class place again.

The hotel is very close to Thiruvananthapuram junction. I was in a standard room, and the TV didn’t work at first. They moved me to another room when I asked, which I appreciated. The washroom was properly cleaned and they provided a water bottle, though there was no daily room cleaning. Staff were supportive, but service overall was average, fine for a short visit with some room for improvement. They arranged an auto for a day tour quoted at ₹800, but the driver charged ₹1000. The tour ran from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. He was friendly, gave us guidance, and helped with local items and shopping stops. Aside from a few minor issues, it was a good experience. Confirm the price and how many sightseeing points are included ahead of time to avoid confusion.

The room, blanket, and bedsheet were in poor condition, and breakfast came in pouches. There was no feeling of comfort or facilities here. Avoid it if you can and look elsewhere.

The building has four floors, with single and double rooms, and the AC and fans work. But despite a prime location, it felt like a 100 Rs lodge setup. There was no room service or towels, and basic facilities were missing. Even the bathroom door had no lock. I couldn’t believe they run it this way. Next time I’ll choose green lodge or somewhere else nearby.
