I liked the paintings and books throughout the rooms and stairs, and the guest house itself is beautifully decorated, quiet, and decent. The staff were humble and friendly, and the food tasted good and felt homemade. A nice place to stay in Kolkata.

Blue Chip felt like home in Calcutta during our ten days here, with time for both work and exploring the culture. It was clean and fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Kailash deserves a special mention for always smiling from morning to evening. Breakfast and dinner were great too, especially the Indian breakfast.

I come here every year because it’s a lovely, comfortable guest house. The staff are warm, friendly, kind, and especially helpful. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home.
