Collection O Hotel Paradise Near Chinar Park

I had to call Oyo support before they would let me check in. After that, I finally got a room, but it was very small, dirty everywhere, and had broken plumbing in the bathroom. I’d travelled and just wanted to rest, so the whole thing was a lot of hassle.

The staff were helpful and the bathroom was clean, though the room itself was only relatively clean. The bed had about 2-3 feet of space around it, and the room was roughly 9 m2. There was a phone and TV, but the sheets and towels were old and still had some stains. Not pleasant. When the power went out, the generator ran only the lights and fans. It was just 2-3 kW for the whole hotel, so there was no hot water or air conditioning. I might stay again if there’s nothing better at this price.

The rooms were cozy and clean, with big windows and lively lights. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hospitality was good. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and its pipes were leaking. The location is convenient and easy to reach, though there’s no parking.

The service was awful. I arrived late at night and nobody welcomed me. In the morning, water from the AC had soaked the floor, my clothes, and important documents in the bag I’d left there. When I told reception, he argued that this had never happened before and seemed to blame me. I emptied the bag and handed it to staff to dry. My checkout was at noon, but I was at a meeting and got back at 1.45, almost two hours late. The receptionist said three guests had left because there were no rooms and wanted 1000 rs extra. I refused and asked for a lower amount. Then he said he could give me a discount if I left a five-star Google review. I said I was in a hurry and would rate them five stars with good comments. He then asked for 500 rs extra, which I paid. He gave me no bill for the room or the 500 rs. This isn’t about the money. I want people to know these Oyo staff aren’t providing good service and are looting guests. It was shameful behavior that I, and apparently many others, have had to put up with. I rate the hotel one star. Why did this happen?
