Fabhotel Royal Palm

I liked the food and the stay overall, and breakfast was awesome. The chicken biryani at lunch was good too, and they cook food fresh. I stayed for one day, though the hotel could still improve a few things for guest satisfaction: change the bedsheets before guests arrive, provide towels and soap, and add some clothes hangers. The rest was good.

The deal with FAB hotels was supposed to let me check in at 3:00 A.M. and check out at 6:00 P.M. for the same rate, but they charged me extra. When I arrived, nobody was at the hotel at first. Eventually I found a man smoking who showed me how to get in. This was a terrible struggle.

The location is good, and there is parking, but my stay was below average. The rooms were clean, though there were no towels or toiletries, and the commode had no hand shower, so you had to use your hand and a mug. Outside food is allowed, but you have to collect it from reception. There wasn’t even a water bottle in the room, and after I called, it took 20 minutes and two calls to get one.

The rooms are a bit below par, but okay, and the staff are friendly. The location is great, very near Axis mall. A big drawback is that outside food isn’t allowed. These hotels usually have a limited menu of rice, chapati, and North Indian dishes, which people may not want to eat on vacation. If you’re after pizza, pasta, or something else, you have to walk out because you can’t order it in.
