The rooms were clean and pleasant, though there weren't enough chairs. It's a bit far from Howrah station. The staff were nice, the food was decent, and the stay was good value.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, though there weren't enough chairs. It's a bit far from Howrah station. The staff were nice, the food was decent, and the stay was good value.

The bathroom was dirty and short on water, and the rooms felt cramped and tiny. Check-in took ages too, so the whole stay felt like a waste of time, energy, and money. If you're hoping to relax in summer, don't pick this place. The AC doesn't work, and the staff don't seem to care enough to fix it.
The manager was disrespectful and asked for extra money, saying we'd get good service if we paid 1000 directly per day. He said this sometimes happens to guests who book through the Oyo app. The TV wasn't working, and the AC also hadn't worked on my previous visit. When I complained, he said, "It's not Oyo's father hotel, it's my hotel." The service felt very poor.
The rooms were hygienic, and the AC and fans worked. They're somewhere in the middle, neither luxurious nor especially bad. At check-in they told us guests were expected back by 10 PM because of a gate timing rule. That felt like a hostel restriction, though the staff were cooperative when we returned around 11.
The staff were well mannered, but the place itself was unhygienic and poorly cleaned. The sheets were dirty and weren't changed regularly, the washroom doors were broken, the AC didn't work, and there was a creepy smell everywhere. Don't trust the shiny Google photos, they're much older. The place is totally ewwww now.
