The area around the hotel felt average. The rooms were okay, though not especially good, and the amenities were good. The bathroom was in very good condition, but the exhaust fan wasn't working. There was no vegetarian food nearby, and I was concerned about finding veg options in the predominantly Muslim area. Avoid a room facing the front desk if you need to sleep at night, since it was very noisy there.

I booked this room because of its location for my US visa interview. The cleanliness and hygiene were both zero star.

The rooms were dirty, and the staff were very rude. I asked about breakfast the night before and reminded them in the morning that I needed it by 9:30, but it didn't arrive until 10:30. When I called again, a staff member shouted, scolded me, and asked why I kept calling. A very bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

I liked how politely the staff and the main person treated tourists.

Hotel Royal Park Inn felt warm and inviting, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable with the amenities I needed. It was easy to get to nearby attractions in calcutta, too. What stood out to me was how spotless and well maintained everything was. I had a lovely stay, and it works well as a comfortable base for exploring or just relaxing.
