I wouldn’t stay at this fabhotel silverkey in Kolkata if you want a properly maintained place. The room smelled bad and was dirty, including the curtains and bed cover, and there was no staff to help with service. They’d told us when booking that mineral water and breakfast were included, but the kitchen was already closed. I had to leave even after paying, and they wouldn’t allow a cancellation. If negative ratings were possible, I’d give one.

I was charged 1100rs for a quite old room, which felt like too much. This place isn’t part of fab hotel, and the receptionist had a very bad attitude.

They’ll let couples stay without a problem, but won’t let friends of the same gender stay for an hour or two. Instead, they suggest booking another room for those two hours.

The stay was really comfortable, with impeccable service and stunning views. I’m already thinking about coming back.

Friendly staff, cozy rooms, and convenient amenities made for an enjoyable stay. I’d consider staying here again.
