The calm, relaxing atmosphere was a real plus, and the staff were very polite and ready to help. At Golden Retreat in Kolkata’s Jatin Das Park area, my room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located and well connected. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for business or leisure.

There’s no in-house restaurant, but food is easy to get within a 2-3 minute walk, and you can order online. The room service staff were kind and polite, and would help bring an order up if needed. My sister and I have stayed twice, and it felt entirely safe for women, solo travelers, and families. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel has its own Aquaguard water facility. It’s just behind Asutosh College, right beside the road, with convenient walking access. Jatin Das Park Metro Station is easy to reach through Gate No. 1 or Gate No. 2. Staff behavior was genuinely good. A nice, safe choice for a short stay, especially for women travelers and families.

The staff were excellent, and the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The guest house sits in a prime spot between asutosh College hazra more and 23 palli durga mandir.

The manager was supportive and very helpful throughout my stay. It was comfortable and good value for the price, with easy access to the metro and other transport. I had a great stay and would recommend it.
