The rooms get cleaned every day, so hygiene is maintained, and the lodging is decent for a comparatively lower price. I stayed yesterday, May 14, 2024, and really liked it. The hotel is in a prime spot, right opposite Gate no 1 of Salt Lake stadium. There aren't many food shops, but the ones there are within walking distance.

The egg fried rice was good, and the portion was big enough that one person would have a lot to finish. The garlic chicken, though, was sweet 😢. I've never had garlic chicken like that. I don't know if they mixed up the order, but we were the only customers, so that didn't seem possible. Quite disappointing. We ate at the restaurant above a guest house. They say it's air-conditioned, but I can't completely agree. We ordered egg fried rice and garlic chicken.

It's reasonably priced, safe, and properly managed, and you can book online through the YHAI website if you're a youth hostel member. It may suit you if all you need is somewhere to leave your luggage. As a tourist, though, it's not particularly close to anything. The place was cheap and affordable, but it wasn't maintained properly. The bathroom was especially poor, with broken tiles and a drain in the middle near the bathing area whose lid didn't fit properly. The TV didn't work, and the drinking water was regular water refilled into mineral water bottles. It's associated with YHAI.
