The room was filthy, and the linens hadn’t been changed. The sheets were stained and dirty, and the blanket had just been thrown in the cupboard. They wouldn’t provide toiletries, and the receptionist said guests weren’t allowed to buy anything outside either. Outside food was supposedly prohibited, but food from Hotel Raj Palace was delivered by a third party, and they wouldn’t leave until we paid upfront. Even a complimentary water bottle wasn’t offered. They overcharged for one and demanded payment first. The front desk staff argued when I raised these problems. After I complained to Oyo, they contacted the hotel, and we finally got a basic glass for drinking water. The list goes on. Really bad service and rules.

We didn’t even get the suite we had booked when we arrived. The room had no basics: no towel, soap, blanket, or extra sheets. They also told us to hand over our room key whenever we went out. I’d avoid this place. You can find better hotels for the same money.

The manager was rude and would show his anger, and there was no room service at all. The rooms smelled very bad and had no proper ventilation. I’d tell people not to book this hotel.

The hotel rooms and their service were fine, no complaints there. The attached restaurant, though, was really poor. They don’t allow outside food, the food quality was average, and even delivering one bottle of water took an hour.
