Hotel Royale

We stayed for the last two nights and were very satisfied. It’s a family hotel, the room was clean and neat, and the management staff were well behaved. The 24-hour service was satisfactory.

For a regular traveler or someone looking for a simple stay near the airport, this hotel is nice compared with the others nearby. The rooms are clean and pleasant, and nights are quiet. The price is affordable, and the staff are all very good and polite.

If you have a dust allergy like I do, I’d avoid booking here. The room gets 2/5 from me, and cleanliness gets zero. There were spiderwebs in the room, the washroom was very dirty, and I had to ask them to clean it. The blankets had no covers, and I doubt they were cleaned after guests used them. The smell made me sneeze all day. The working staff were good, but the owner doesn’t know how to speak to customers.

The rooms are tiny, with a thick layer of black dust and mud on the floor. When we asked for cleaning, they poured a few buckets of water and seemed to consider that enough. We also heard other guests complain about cleanliness. Used towels were left in the room, and when we asked for a replacement, they said they had none. The towel they eventually brought from someone’s home wasn’t usable. The bathroom and washbasin were dirty and smelled bad, and there was no air freshener. The next morning, when we raised this with management, the manager, who seemed to be the owner, and staff were fighting. They can’t manage this hotel properly. Don’t book here or waste your money and peace of mind.
