Bubble Beds Hostel

I stayed with a friend in a 6-bed dormitory and we were comfortable the whole time. The AC and other facilities were up to the mark, the rooms were hygienic, and the washrooms exceptionally clean. Staff were humble, friendly, and helpful. Bubble Beds Kolkata met my expectations and then some. I loved the stay, and it was completely worth the price.

The location made things easy, about an 8-minute walk from Kalighat Metro station. Anirban and Shantanu were especially humble and cooperative, which helped make the stay comfortable. I also met other travelers in the dorm and came away with new friends and connections. It was a pleasant, memorable stay.

The bunk-bed room was neat and well maintained, and the location is lovely, accessible, and close to the metro. The washrooms need more attention, though. A broken toilet seat was still unfixed when we came back for a second stay the following week. It’s better than many other places, but there’s room to improve. Breakfast was good this time. On our previous visit, the bread smelled like dish soap, maybe that was a one-off, but the food prep could use closer supervision and care.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were so approachable. Whenever we had a question or even a small doubt, they sorted it out quickly and with a smile. We booked a private 3-bed room, which was clean and comfortable, and everything felt safe and trustworthy. Bubble Beds Kolkata has a warm, welcoming feel, with lovely people from all over. We met international travelers and made some really good friends, which made the stay even more memorable. We felt at home and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata.
