We got a calm lunch at Kingston Boutique Hotel & Restaurant during Durga Puja, even on Sosthi, when it was surprisingly empty. Arsanel across the road was packed, so the quiet here let us enjoy our meal without a rush or crowd. The food was excellent, around 4.5/5 for me, and the cozy atmosphere and welcoming feel were lovely. Staff were polite and attentive. It's also a bar, but I'd recommend it for the food and ambience even if you don't drink. A place more people should put on their list during Puja or any other time.

We were frightened by a big fight outside, and couldn't sleep because of the loud music from the club on the reception floor. It went on until 1 AM. Our room was on the second floor.

This is one of the cheapest, lowest quality bars in the Dum Dum area. They serve low quality alcohol and add extra charges to the bill. Staff are rude and unprofessional. The collectors and waiters act like beggars asking for tips. Music is way too loud and the bills are expensive. This bar doesn't deserve even one star.
