It’s tucked a little way inside the street, but a cab or car can get there easily. That also makes it peaceful, and the place feels comfortable, calm, and cozy. The rooms are good value, clean, and well maintained, with fresh sheets and towels every day. The staff, including Miss. Piyali, gave me the best hospitality I’ve experienced. They helped however they could, including with cabs and places to visit. The food was good too.

I paid ₹1500 after booking offline. Sushanta at reception was very well behaved, and the rooms were clean, though termites were crawling around. Later I noticed a keyhole facing the bed, with a direct view of the whole bed from outside. In the afternoon, someone stood there for a long time, possibly a cleaner. I hope they take guests’ right to privacy seriously.

Kollolini Kolkata has its own style, with simple, elegant decor and old Kolkata pictures on the walls. The atmosphere feels homely and peaceful, good for people who like that sort of place. The staff were helpful and well mannered. It’s reasonably priced for the amenities they try to provide, so it’s good value. The food was awesome and healthy.

The room was very clean and the staff were humble. They also serve food, and the quality was quite good. I asked for breakfast around 7:30, and they brought it at the time I requested. They provide an electric kettle too, so you can have tea or coffee. It was a nice experience for a pocket-friendly price. Finding the place may be tricky, so use Google Maps.
