The rooms are extremely compact, and the bathroom is so small you can almost touch two walls when stretching out. They ask for payment upfront before even showing the rooms, so be careful. The rate also feels too high for this property. On the plus side, it’s on the main road, the staff are polite, the food is tasty, and it’s a vegetarian-only hotel. Breakfast has a little more choice than what OYO provides, and there’s an in-house bar.

We were five senior-citizen women, and the staff made us feel completely at home. They were polite, smiling, respectful, and quietly attentive to what we needed. Mr. Antar De brought warm milk with turmeric for one of us who had a bad cold. When we were leaving at 6.00 am, they served us coffee and tea in the lounge, then packed breakfast for us even though complimentary breakfast wasn’t due to start until 7.00 am and the cook was on leave. We stayed on the 19th and 20th of Nov. 2018 and left on the 21st. The locality and ambience were good, it was very clean and felt safe for women, and the food was awesome. I’ve stayed in many hotels and guest houses during and after my service, but this staff stood out. I wish them all good things, and hope others get to experience their hospitality.

The staff were all courteous and helpful, and Mr.Rohul Pathak, the manager, helped arrange sightseeing trips. The pure vegetarian food was tasty. Rooms were neat, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of New market and park street, with buses nearby for Eden gardens and babu ghat. I’d give it five stars. Keep it up.

I haven’t stayed here, but I’ve visited. The rooms looked comfortable and the location is great. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the airport, and roughly 15 minutes from both Sealdah railway station and Howrah station. The restaurant also seems like a good option for vegetarians.
