OYO 11530 Maa Tara Guest House

They wanted almost 2000 rupees for a room like this, and even with a low price booked through OYO, they demanded more money when we arrived to check in. The way they treat you is horrible, like you're an outsider or tourist if you try to bargain. The rooms are disgusting, barely lit, and the bathrooms have no light. There's one tiny light in the room, so you can hardly see anything. There's no food service for guests, and they won't allow outside food, ordered online or otherwise. I strongly don't recommend it. OYO should look into this kind of place and check before approving hotels, since customers suffer and OYO's image is affected too.

How did OYO certify this room? It didn't meet a single feature. There was a foul odor throughout, and hygiene was lacking. The room had the feel of a red-light area room, with visible dirt on the walls and fixtures, including the tap.

Because I couldn't walk properly after surgery and needed to be near the hospital until my next checkup, I ended up choosing this hotel. They wouldn't give me a ground-floor room with the facilities I needed, and instead offered one on the first floor. Even though there was a good-quality lift, they refused to let us use it. I couldn't go searching for another place then, so I had to take the risk. The service was awful. They didn't clean the room or provide bathroom soap or even a proper bedsheet. I was given an AC room for Rs.800/- but couldn't use the AC without their permission. Staff said I could use it if I paid 1300/-. My health suddenly got worse from the heat in summer, so my elderly mom asked them to turn it on at 12pm. They charged us another 700/- just for that night. Their treatment of my family was the worst, and they blamed us, saying they were losing money by giving us that room. The rooms are terrible, and all they care about is money. The staff behaviour, service, and commitment were awful. They have no humanity. I'll NEVER EVER FORGET THIS SERVICE. 😡😡😡😡😡

They pressured us to cancel our OYO booking and manipulated us into staying under their own booking. Then they gave us the worst rooms we've ever seen. We also had trouble and harassment from the hotel, and they refused when we asked for a GST bill. The rooms were unhealthy and not good at all, with water logging as a major problem. The crowd was cheap, the rooms nasty, and the roadside food was cheap quality and overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially for patients with family members. I'd give it -100 stars if I could. OYO should take proper action so no one else gets harassed.
