It's a neat and clean OYO, and the staff are polite and helpful. The bathroom was clean and felt like one of the small touches that made the stay feel premium. The hotel gives you two small bottles of packed water as a complimentary extra, something missing on my visits to most OYOs. There's a food menu if you want to order in. Finding the place on your first glance might be a struggle, but Google Maps can help. Since it's near Parkcircus, going out for dinner is a great idea too, with lovely restaurants in the area and a chance to explore Kolkata. Or you can use the hotel's menu.

When we checked in, the room was fully wet, the AC wasn't working, and there was dampness on the AC wall. Staff kept coming in and disturbing us, looking only at the bedside, which was a ridiculous experience. The food didn't taste very good, and the price was high for the portion size. I ordered laccha paratha and they brought it open to the room. They didn't provide salt and pepper or a complimentary salad. We only wanted some onion, but they said I'd have to pay 20 rs to the room service guy as a tip for just six slices, because my wife likes onion with food. The property itself is nice, and the room was okay.

It's clean, the rooms are good, and the location near the main road makes the hotel easy to find. Staff behavior was really good. Breakfast didn't make me happy, though, and room service was slow. Sometimes we had to call two or three times.

The rooms are spacious, with well-designed interiors and a roomy bathroom. The food is great and the staff are nice, so you may want to stay another day. I couldn't give five stars because check-in had a few issues. The location isn't great and may be hard to find, there's no parking, and the lanes are congested.

Try the aloo jeera, mixed raita, and macaroni, they're totally yum! The staff are passionate about their work and handle every odd situation with an infectious smile that makes you smile too. Need anything? It's just one call away. One of the best hotels!
