It's about an hour from Howrah or santragachi station, and the location is convenient. The rooms are neat and clean, with AC and a TV, and the bed fits three people. The staff are good too. One catch: outside food isn't allowed, so you have to buy from them. Call the hotel about payment, since they're reluctant to take online payments.

The staff are really good, and the guest house has the facilities they say it does. The price is a bit high. They say they're under OYO, but don't accept payments made in advance through OYO. If you're considering it, call them, find the hotel, check in, provide your documents, and pay there. Have a happy stay.

The people running the hotel are humble and helpful, and they take good care of guests. It's basically a house converted into a hotel. The location and rooms are fine, about three-star worthy.

Outside food isn't allowed. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms and advertised facilities are good. It's easy to reach, in a decent colony. Prometric office, for GRE or TOEFL test takers, is within walking distance.

I booked through MMT for two nights for my postgraduate exam, but when I checked in today they refused the booking, citing election issues. Meanwhile, people who hadn't booked online were being let in and paying cash. The staff behaved very badly and kept telling me to leave, without offering any accommodation. After three hours, thankfully I got another place through OYO and MMT.
