OYO 3055 Hotel Beeu

I visited the hotel to carry out a survey during my summer break, but left feeling dejected. The manager first declined to speak with me and sent a staff member instead. That person had just started answering my questions when the manager cut in, saying he didn’t have time for this, although he was sitting and relaxing. His tone was rude. I understand people may not have time for these things, but there should still be a basic level of courtesy. My experience with the manager was very bad. I can’t comment on the hotel’s services.

For budget travelers, this is the best hotel in Kolkata. The rooms are good, the managers are very good, security is good, and the restaurant food is worth trying. My only problem is booking through OYO. I’ve repeatedly had trouble with OYO’s customer service. The offers may look appealing, but I’d call the hotel directly and book there instead. The managers will definitely help you.

The rooms were good, but the staff weren’t very friendly. When I checked out, some people I’d never seen before asked me for a tip, even though they hadn’t done anything for me. They also insisted on cash for my final food bill and wouldn’t accept a card. I booked through goibibo for two days at 4400, but the hotel initially refused the booking because they wanted 4800. I waited an hour, and with help from goibibo support I was able to check in without paying extra. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have no other option.

The attached restaurant is now closed after Corona, though a minimum selection is still available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is centrally located just outside Central Metro station, with reasonable prices and a cordial reception. It’s a good budget hotel, and I recommend staying here.
