OYO 3276 Hotel Rockstar Suites

The morning receptionist was very friendly at checkout, and breakfast was good. When I arrived at 11pm, though, the receptionist told me to look at a couple of rooms and leave if I didn't like them. The paint was peeling off the walls, although the rooms were otherwise clean. I called reception to ask about checking out an hour late because many rooms were empty, and got a rude 'nahi nahi nahi' before they hung up. I got the feeling they didn't want us to stay.

We had a booking reservation problem, but it turned out to be a miscommunication between the hotel and the booking service. The hotel resolved it and gave us an upgraded room as compensation. Service was available 24 hours. It's a really nice place to stay for a few days in Kolkata.

I booked the banquet and two rooms for my own marriage, but the experience left me thoroughly disappointed with the owner and manager. The owner was extremely rude, and both of them were uncooperative. The rooms and corridor were very dirty. I'd tell people to think twice before booking this place for a ceremony.

Our room cost much more than the price advertised online, so it was very poor value. The neighbourhood was an absolute chaotic nightmare, with constant noise both inside and outside the hotel at all hours. People gathered below our room and yelled through meetings at 3am in the morning, as in the photo. Avoid this place if you can.
