OYO 74808 Deep Inn Salt Lake

This was an apartment being run as a hotel, not a real hotel, and there was no signboard. You couldn’t move around like you would in a hotel, and guests weren’t allowed to use the lift. It felt like a place for couples to spend a few hours, and it was hard to find. Definitely a bad choice for a family stop. The bathrooms were dirty and the washbasin was leaky. We booked through OYO and confirmed by phone, but on arrival they said there was no booking or payment. They had us cancel and pay cash instead, which was a terrible experience. They’re cheaters. Please don’t book here.

The photos on OYO looked fake to me, and the food was very expensive. There were no OYO signs outside, and it was just one boy at a little table with a chair and printer, with no service staff. This is an apartment, not a hotel. OYO said the rooms would be sanitized, but ours wasn’t. We booked a saver deluxe room, then the boy said it didn’t have an attached bathroom. He charged us an extra 300 rupees and gave us a room with one, but OYO never told us the room had been upgraded.

We booked a room through OYO. It was fairly clean, but there were restrictions, like not being allowed to play music too loudly. You also had to be back inside by 10:30 at night. With rules like that, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The food was unhygienic, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was cooked together. There was no sanitizer, hand wash, or lotion, and no OYO kit for us. Hygiene and cleanliness were at zero. It was the worst experience of my life with OYO.
