OYO Flagship 24205 White Castle

I paid ₹1400, but the room wasn’t worth even ₹600. The toilet flush didn’t work, the bathroom floor was filthy, and the facilities were in extremely poor condition. The AC barely worked, the TV was dead, and the pillows were extremely dirty and unhygienic. My stay at Hotel O in Alipore was very disappointing. The room was in a completely unacceptable state, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid it unless cleanliness, maintenance, and honesty in pricing improve substantially.

After I booked through Oyo and arrived with my dad, the hotel asked us for more money. When we questioned it, they said they would give us a room, but what they showed us was a storeroom with dustbins and dirt. They said that was what we got for that price. We tried asking Oyo executives for help, but they told me it wasn’t their problem. The hotel staff harassed us a lot. Fraud and misbehaviour.

Avoid this place if you’re a couple. After check-in and payment, before I even entered the room, the housekeeping guy asked for Rs 500 as a tip. I was shocked. Since it was night and I was with my girlfriend, I didn’t argue and gave him 50. At night, he and a friend, I think they were both drunk, knocked on our door and seemed ready to start a fight. I managed to avoid it for my girlfriend’s safety. Early in the morning, they called some local goons and threatened me to leave because I hadn’t given more tip money. They also threatened to go to my address, since they had my Adhar card ID. It was a pathetic experience. I somehow managed to check out in a hurry and left my phone charger behind. I hope this reaches the owner. Do not go here with your girlfriend.
