Sapphire Guest House

I paid 26 thousand for three days for a family trip from another state. At 11 pm the next day, the owner repudiated the arrangement and demanded another 6 thousand for us to stay, otherwise we wouldn't be allowed to remain. When we challenged him, he started fighting with us and threatened us. We felt he was taking advantage of the fact that we were tourists with family and couldn't go somewhere else at midnight. The owner was very rude, and the staff's behavior was very bad too. This was a very bad hotel experience. Never visit this hotel.

We arrived at 10 PM after booking through Agoda and were told to wait because the existing guests were delayed. They then asked us to check in after 1 PM and wouldn't even keep our luggage, so we went out with it and booked a taxi tour until 1 PM. When we got back, they asked whether we'd paid through Agoda. I said yes, and they told us they couldn't let us check in that day and that we should have chosen pay at hotel. They then asked us to leave because their guests were coming. Being in a strange city with my wife, all our luggage, and backpacks was a horrible experience. We had to find another hotel. I wouldn't recommend them.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The staff aren't welcoming, the rates keep changing, and they don't seem to trust online bookings. Even after you've booked and paid online, they may say they have no connection with the booking sites, while changing their rules along the way.

A good guest house, with staff who are polite and disciplined.
