The hotel refused to accommodate me despite my confirmed Agoda booking. At 8:30 PM, I was there with my wife, but staff couldn’t find my details and offered no help. I had to contact Agoda myself, and they arranged a full refund. The room condition was awful: mosquitoes everywhere, dirt, blood stains on the pillow cover, and a mirror with a disturbing texture that made the place feel unhygienic and unsafe. They didn’t provide water bottles or towels. Reception simply said, “We don’t provide any of them.” They also don’t allow outside food. Yet I saw a guest bring several alcohol bottles and ask reception to send glasses to the room, and staff happily did so. I stayed just one night, and the experience was terrible from the start. The place lacked basic hospitality, hygiene, and professionalism. I wouldn’t book here; they may leave you stranded at the last minute.

The staff were very humble and cooperative, and their behavior deserves a special mention. One of the best hotels for customer service in Kolkata New Town area.

Each day, they provide two half litre bottles of water and two sachets of coffee powder. You can’t get extra coffee sachets.

I stayed at this property many times before, but this year the experience was really bad. There were stains everywhere, and the room was so dirty, including the washroom. I spoke with the staff, who said the owner had changed. I understand there may be little the staff can do about that.

After check-in, they put me in a first-floor room full of mosquitoes, with a dirty commode and, most importantly, no hot water. When I complained, they moved me to a suite on the fourth floor, then tried to charge ₹1,000 extra for it. At 10 pm they changed my room again. Pathetic and inhuman.
