The SilverLine Hotel

I checked into Silverline hotel on the evening of 24th December with my family after booking through MMT, but we left within a few hours and paid extra to book another hotel for three days. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families or kids. Maybe one night alone at most. The king size bed in the pictures was hardly a double bed, and the sheets, covers and pillows were dirty and torn. Water clogged in the bathroom, and staff didn’t seem to care about our problems. I’ve never stayed somewhere so awful. I had paid for three days, but neither MMT nor the hotel refunded anything, even though we left after a few hours. My advice is not to book this hotel, even if the price is cheap. It’s unfit to stay in.

The only upside is the airport drop service, but it’s not worth putting up with the rest. The room felt claustrophobic, and the sheets had cigarette burns. I have no idea how long the pillow covers had gone without changing. As soon as we walked in, I could tell the washroom would be a letdown. There was no exhaust, and it stank. We ended up buying bedsheets from blinkit just to get through the night, because sleeping on that bed made us feel itchy. Better to book another hotel.

It’s very close to the airport and offers a free airport drop, so it could work for one night if you have an early flight. Beyond that, keep expectations low for the room setup and staff service, and you may not be disappointed.

I booked two deluxe rooms for my family and me, but when we arrived, only one was deluxe. The other was a normal room, very small and without a mirror or Almirah. The toilet flush didn’t work in either room. The geyser and charger point were also broken in the deluxe room. Room service was very poor, and most of the time there was nobody at reception to answer calls for service. They had assured us breakfast was included, but we only got it on one of our two days.
