OYO 1238 near Park Circus

The staff were good, the food was good, and reception looked professional and was very nicely decorated. But I found the hygiene poor: insects and a bad smell in the lobby and rooms. I felt suffocated, and the room had an oily kind of smell even after they sprayed air freshener. The water taps in the toilet had an electrical short circuit. I got a shock when I touched them while bathing. I eventually figured out that unplugging the geyser from its socket stopped the problem. I've stayed in many OYO hotels, and this was my most dangerous experience.

Being able to walk to Park circus railway station in about 10 minutes, with MAA flyover nearby too, made getting around easy. The room was nice, the staff were good, and everything was clean. Dinner was good, though the complimentary breakfast could be better. A comfortable stay for the price.

Please Hotel has been the worst value we've found after staying in hotels across India. The staff and service were poor, the hotel wasn't working properly, and even the geyser didn't work. It felt like a waste of both time and money.

The rooms are kept in good condition, and the staff were helpful. The Google Maps location is wrong, but even with that issue, it was worth staying here for the reasonable price.
