The room was clean and spacious enough, and reception gave good service. They also offered helpful guidance about places to visit and where to find Bengali food. My only concern was parking: there’s no space at the hotel, so if you drive, you have to look for somewhere nearby yourself. We had a good stay for a couple of nights.

I had a decent ground-floor room with a separate table in the middle section, which was comfortable for working. The hotel sits in a residential area but connects easily to the main road, and small rickshaws carry people around. I arrived at night, and the staff member who welcomed me was thoughtful and understanding. He let me choose among the empty rooms and shared tips on local transport and places to eat. After the first night, though, I found a lot of mouse droppings at the far end of the bed. A little mouse had come in through the bathroom. Staff tried hard to find and chase it, but this needs fixing. Apart from that, the place was very well kept.

For a low-budget work trip, this is a good home stay or lodge option in the area. It has AC, clean washrooms, a TV with proper cable, cold water, and a quiet setting. The rooms are nice. I’d recommend it if you’re on a budget, though it isn’t for anyone looking for luxury.

The bedroom was laid out for a single bed, but they put in a queen bed, leaving barely any room to move. It had an attached bathroom and kitchen. Aside from that, the rooms were clean and maintained, and the staff were good. The location is a little tucked inside, though cabs are easy to get. It’s near Kalikapur, about 2.5 km from South City Mall. For the price, I had a pleasant stay in terms of the staff and room quality.
