Fabhotel Luxury Stay

I had the worst hotel stay of my life. The staff had a bad attitude, and there was no phone in the room, so every request meant going downstairs to reception. The TV was there but didn’t work. Food was very greasy, apparently made with dalda, and the Aquagaurd water tasted strange. Damp walls made the room smell, and the door wouldn’t lock properly from outside. There were no hooks or hangers in either the bathroom or bedroom, and I didn’t feel safe. They also didn’t allow online food orders. I wouldn’t go here with a wife or family, if you know what I mean.

It was a decent stay in the end, but the place wasn’t especially good either. The low price, location and couple-friendly setup were positives, and early checkout was possible. The lift and AC both worked, though the AC wasn’t strong enough to cool the room properly. The room and toilet weren’t clean, and the bathroom lock was broken. The bed and pillow covers also needed better cleaning, so bring your own sheet or pillow cover. They don’t provide water. A one-litre packaged bottle cost 30 rupees, and since there were no two-litre bottles, two litres came to 60. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The room felt cramped and gloomy, with just a tiny window facing a tall concrete wall and heaps of garbage below. There was no bathroom window, and the old wall paint was damp and muddy. The bed, pillow and other things smelled and seemed dirty. The TV didn’t work, and the room itself smelled damp and creepy. Service was awful. There’s no phone in the room, so you have to go downstairs for help, then wait hours. Outside food is prohibited, while the hotel’s own menu has many unavailable items. They offer only a few choices, bring the food from outside after an hour, and it’s bad quality. Staff were very rude. It didn’t feel like a family hotel, and I even wondered if there might be a hidden camera. If you’re after a creepy, weird, spooky experience for yourself and your family, you must visit.

They refused to let us in despite Fabhotels confirming the booking. The owner was rude, saying he didn’t care about online confirmation and that guests needed to confirm directly with him. That level of unprofessionalism was unbelievable, and they were rude to elderly guests too. The place was unhygienic, with cockroaches and a bad smell everywhere. Staff were very rude as well. Never spend your hard-earned money here. It’s an absolute shambles.
