The manager was very polite and helpful, arranged our airport transfer, and gave us a lot of help with bookings. That made the stay comfortable, even though the rooms looked worn. The price was bearable. Our sink leaked, the hot water took five minutes to come through, and the bed linen was a little dirty. The air conditioner worked properly.

The location is good and photogenic, and service was there whenever we needed it. What I loved most was the food: simple and tasty, it really felt like "GHAR KA KHANA ONLY".

Yogesh and family are lovely, grounded people, and the food is top notch. There’s plenty of parking, hot water at all times, and TVs and ACs in every room, all working. Hotel Silver Inn is peaceful and away from the crowd. It sits between panchagani and mahabaleshwar, making it a handy base for exploring both. The surrounding area is awesome too, so it’s a go-to stay for a mahabaleshwar trip.

I called recently to ask about staying in Mahabaleshwar over the coming weekend, but the front desk left me with a bad impression. The receptionist spoke rudely and cut in to say they don’t take one-night bookings, only stays of at least two nights. I understand that hotels set their own policies, but the way this was said felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I’ve never run into this rule before, and the lack of courtesy was disappointing. That first contact matters, and it didn’t feel like good customer service.
