From 19th January to 3rd February, I had a pleasant stay at The Stadel Hotel, Kolkata, and the whole team made me feel welcome and well looked after. Mr. Anil Prasad in housekeeping was punctual, kept things clean, and was always helpful. In dining, Mr Suman, LIPSHA, Shreya, Rittika and the others were courteous and attentive. Ms. Ankita Mitra at the front desk deserves special thanks for helping so much with my booking and making sure everything went smoothly and comfortably throughout. She was warm, professional, and helpful. I highly recommend The Stadel to anyone visiting Kolkata, and look forward to coming back soon.

Inside Salt Lake Stadium, The Stadel has a banquet hall and a good buffet. The food is good and there's enough of it, and the staff are helpful and well behaved. A nice spot for family gatherings or parties.

The dessert counter had misti doi, rabri, gulab jamun, kheer, ice cream with brownie, and three or four kinds of sandesh. For the non-veg dishes that day, there was mainly mutton biryani, rice, chingri malaikari, and chicken kosha. We went for dinner and thought the buffet dishes were pretty good for a buffet menu.

I recently attended a marriage anniversary here, and the spacious venue felt just right for the occasion. It's inside Saltlake stadium and has a great ambience and good food. Seems like a good fit for parties and conference gatherings.
