Townhouse OAK The Platinum Studio 50

The restaurant food was amazing, and the staff gave good service. They could use more training, though, and the hotel itself wasn’t maintained as well as it should have been. Still, it was a good stay.

Even if you’re looking for a cheap stay, I’d avoid this hotel. The room had dirty water coming from the washbasin, filthy bathrooms and stained bedsheets, among other problems. There were hardly any other customers when I was there. Check the room carefully before booking. Just horrible.

The rooms were dirty and badly maintained, and several facilities were broken or unusable. The fridge didn’t work at all, more like decoration than an appliance, and the food was stale and inedible. The security guards in particular were aggressive and intimidating, making the atmosphere uncomfortable. It felt like the staff were more interested in getting money from guests than making the stay pleasant. A disaster from beginning to end, and I’d tell anyone considering it to stay elsewhere.

The noise made it hard to sleep. Construction went on through the day, then workers spent the whole night on the terrace preparing for an event the next day. The lift also kept breaking down every few hours, and bathroom water supply was irregular. Bedsheets weren’t clean either. Staff were rude and unprofessional, and ignored the issues we raised. I wouldn’t book this place for a couple, a family, or anyone wanting a decent stay. Stay away.
