Kollam Beach Resort

Sriraj communicated well and was very professional. He helped guide us to local places and suggested where to go. I'm very satisfied with this hotel. The beach is near, about 1km away. Good hotel.

The booking details and prices weren't transparent. The online rate differed from what I was quoted in person, and nobody disclosed during booking that the room was non-AC. Adding AC to that same room costs ₹1,000, which seems unreasonable. My experience was highly disappointing, and I can't recommend the hotel. Management was extremely poor. The elderly gentleman in charge spoke to guests sarcastically and condescendingly, and kept boasting about his past career, which had nothing to do with the service. Even the way he said “sir” sounded mocking instead of respectful. Edit: Since I posted my honest review, the owner has repeatedly called and harassed me over the negative feedback. That's unacceptable and unprofessional. Guests should be able to share genuine experiences without intimidation.

The customer service was the worst part. The rooms were very cramped and had no facilities at all, so they weren't worth 1900+ or more. When I first contacted them after seeing the Google reviews, the amount they quoted changed later. Please don't go there. You can find somewhere much better for the same price. You'd be scared to leave a review because otherwise they'd file a case against you. If you've already stayed once, don't book again.

The rooms were good, and the staff behaved excellently.
