Goroomgo VIP Lodge Puri

My room at V.I.P Lodge cost Rs. 800 per night. The rooms are very big, neat and clean, with large beds, attached big and clean western bathrooms, and 24/7 water supply. They provide an Acquaguard water bottle, a blanket, and a TV in every room. There’s also a dressing table with a mirror, plus two chairs and a table for dining. You can choose AC or Non-AC rooms. It's suitable for families, friends, and couples. Bike parking is free, and the staff are very friendly and available all night. The lodge is close to Konark Bus Stand and Konark Sun Tower, near Sun Temple, which is just 5 minutes away on foot. There are other lodges and hotels nearby, along with lots of food options. You don't need to book in advance, you can get a room at the counter. Check a few places for prices and bargain: they quoted 1200, but try for 800-900 max, since other lodges and hotels also offer rooms for less than 1000. One thing to be aware of is the schedule. Rooms are available for an 8 am schedule, with checkout at 8 am, so it's not a 24-hour stay. Always ask about checkout time at the reception counter. V.I.P Lodge is a good lodge.
