There were spit marks in several places, and the room felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. The washroom was extremely dirty, the toilet seat was missing, and there was no shower. Even the bed sheet looked used and wasn't clean. Basic cleanliness and hygiene weren't maintained, and proper amenities were missing too. This was a very disappointing stay, far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend staying unless they make major improvements.

I managed to stay just 5 hours because the place was a nightmare. OYO didn't refund my money or really help. After I complained, they sent an apology email, but that felt useless while the property is still running and OYO keeps taking people's money. Don't trust the owner's photos. I'm sharing what it actually looked like. The street outside seemed cleaner. OYO Rooms was no help with my pre-booking. Worst ever!

The cook made awesome food, and the hotel staff were great. They helped us sort out our trip around the city. The room was amazing too. This feels like the perfect hotel, and I'd advise everyone visiting KOTA to stay here once.

I stayed in room 312 while preparing for NEET. I've got plenty of memories from that hostel, both good and bad. Miss you, Kota.
