Hotel Phul Plaza

The bar service was the worst part of my experience. The staff behaved badly and treated customers like enemies. I wanted to speak with the owner, but couldn’t find any contact details.

There was a lot of noise while we were there because renovation work was underway. The rooms were tidy and clean, if a bit small, and the hotel did have most of the amenities you’d expect at a budget place.

For 1,200 rupees I got a room for four people, so I knew it was going to be cheap. Still, it was worse than I expected. The price was low, and even though the AC was really old, it cooled the room quite well. But half the lights didn’t work or had no bulbs, there was a dead lizard on the floor, and the bedsheet was so awful we had to put a blanket over it to sleep. If you’re short on money or stuck late at night with nowhere to sleep, you could make do here. Otherwise, no, no, no.

It was really noisy, dirty, and unhygienic. I wouldn’t choose this place for drinks or for a hotel stay.
