The breakfast arrived cold, both the sandwich and paratha, so I didn't eat it. When I mentioned it at checkout, they said it was my mistake for choosing them. The AC also didn't work at all, which made the room very uncomfortable. Basic comfort and decent food are what I expect from a hotel, and this place fell short on both. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless they make major improvements.
Hotel Swagat felt cozy and was good value for the money. The rooms were roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were warm, helpful, and quick to assist with a smile. The restaurant food was fresh and tasty, and the location made nearby attractions easy to reach. I'd recommend it for a pleasant, affordable stay.
I keep coming back for the peaceful feel and how clean the hotel is. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are helpful. They only serve tea and breakfast; if you want other food, they'll arrange a parcel. There's also a good Pure Veg Restaurant called MRF food garage about 400 steps away.
The friendly staff made a big difference, especially Sunil, Atul, and the managers Gajendra Bhaiya and Gopal bhaiya, who became like two best bhaiyas to me in no time. Hotel swagat treated me well, and I really appreciated the service. I first planned to stay two or three days, but liked it enough to stay a week and still wanted more time there.
We booked more than 10 rooms for three days, and the experience was positive. The rooms were spacious, ventilated, and clean, breakfast was good, and the staff paid attention. The managers were quite frank and understanding.
