Umed Bhawan Palace

I enjoyed the spacious room and good amenities during my one night in Kota. The billiards room was a nice extra and I had a good time there. Dining let the stay down. Breakfast choices were limited, the food wasn't good, and some dishes had an unpleasant smell. The hotel also has no valet parking, which was inconvenient. The rooms and recreation facilities were enjoyable, but the food needs a lot of improvement. It was an average stay.

The calm grandeur was my favorite part of Umaid Bhawan. It feels graceful rather than flashy, with large spaces, elegant interiors, and peaceful surroundings. Its architecture and traditional details give the place a timeless palace atmosphere, full of old-Rajasthan charm that feels both royal and warm. The heritage look blends beautifully with comfort. “Elegance never goes out of style,” and you can feel that in every corner.

Wildlife in the surrounding area added something special to our time at Umed Bhavan Palace, Kota. We saw Indian Peafowl, Sambar Deer, and Nilgai. The lawns were immaculate and the regal ambiance added to the sense of staying in a royal palace. Our grand, spacious rooms were impeccably clean, the food was excellent, and the service and hospitality were outstanding. A wonderful, memorable heritage stay. Highly recommended.

The pool was a welcome way to escape the heat during the day. We had very luxurious rooms at Umed Bhawan Palace, and enjoyed the food and drinks too. Thanks for the hospitality, and greetings from the Heselmans family.
