Shakunt Resort

The venue, food, and decoration made the wedding worth every penny. There was an open garden, a banquet hall, and a huge manmade fountain, and the whole family had a memorable time at the two-day event with around 400 guests. We also stayed here for two days and had breakfast the day after the wedding. The place is huge and can fit 1000 people at a time. Its 50-60 rooms can accommodate 150-200 people for a 2-3 days function, and the rest can book rooms at nearby hotels. It was a great experience, and the staff and hospitality deserve a big thank you. I suggested adding more rooms, and the owner said they are working on it and there'll be more very soon. If you're attending or planning a wedding here, do try it. It's cost effective and a very nice place.

The food was delicious, and the spacious, cozy rooms were more than I expected for the price. I stopped here during my trip from Delhi to Jaipur and found the resort peaceful and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and took good care of us. It's conveniently located on NH 8, Delhi Jaipur highway, so don't forget to visit.

We had a good time here with colleagues on an excursion, with plenty of lawn space for parties and events. We danced in the lush green garden in the evening; outdoor game kits are available for volleyball, football, cricket, and badminton, and there is a temple at the corner. The fountains add elegance, and there's a huge parking area. The restaurant food was good, though the kitchen couldn't maintain the taste for our large group. There's adequate dining space for a large group, and the rooms have good carpet area, attached toilets, and hot water, but no bath tubs. There were plenty of problems too. Getting through to reception was painful because calls went unanswered, and repeated requests for drinking water came to nothing. No bathroom accessories were provided, the toilet was unhygienic, and the balcony was unclean. The door locks were difficult to use, with the key moving freely inside. The reception area also has a compact entrance.

I like coming here with friends and family, both to hang out and enjoy the view of the landmark and banquet hall. The resort, about 2 km from nearby city paota, has indoor and outdoor seating, a green land park, swimming pool, neat and clean rest, luxurious rooms, and good facilities. The food is delicious, with quality food available at any time. There's space to book and arrange parties and marraiage event, and they serve at their level best with high statisfication. It's a favorite stop for the local audience of paota too, with enough facilities for fun and tasty food. Set on National Highway 8 (Jaipur to Delhi), it's a really good roadside destination.
