SaffronStays Moringa Valley - Cedar Villa

We were the only family staying on the lane that night, with no streetlights and no other people around, which felt very unsafe. The caretaker leaves after 11pm, so an emergency could become a terrible situation if you don't have your own car. The villa is far outside Udaipur, and getting there after 6pm is difficult: there are no streetlights, it's completely dark, and cabs were refusing to go to moring valley top. There are no signs or hoardings to guide you, and even local people didn't know about the place. It's not suitable if you want to explore the city. When our taxi got a punctured tyre on the valley hill, we called the caretaker for help. They had no vehicle to take us to the stay, and we had to carry our heavy bags 1.5 km uphill. We expected at least some help carrying the luggage, but they weren't willing to help at all. There are no food outlets near the villa and no swiggy/zomato. The caretaker said any food order would need to be placed 5 hours in advance, which isn't good. I suggest saffron stays market the place honestly and show it as it is, so people paying to stay aren't misled.

The pool was nice, and the view was really, really beautiful. It's a very peaceful place, and the rooms feel like 5 star. Loved it 😍

Several things in the room weren't working: the lights, the gyser, the bathroom door lock, and the tap that turns on the shower.

A nice, clean property with good food. Umeshji was very helpful, and the staff were helpful too. I love the property.
