Moon Valley Cottage

The lighthouse is right there and the beach is really enjoyable. The hotel is clean, in a lovely spot close to the beach, with restaurants all around, and the staff are very helpful. Just know that the cottage is a short walk into a protected area, so cars and autos can’t get right to the door.

For such a low price, I got a lot: a large balcony with a table, chairs and fan, another fan in the room, a comfortable chair indoors, and a wardrobe with hangers. There are AC rooms too. The mattress was really comfortable, and they provided a towel and cotton top sheet. Hot water, drinking water, a fridge and three power sockets were there; I brought my own travel kettle. The bedside lamps and all the light and fan switches are by the bed. There’s a mosquito net on the window and solid security grills. Internet was very strong, so digital nomads who need to work should be fine. The garden is lovely, and the beach is about 100 metres away. Temples and the lighthouse are a short walk, as are supermarkets, small cafes and ATMs. There are lots of walkways around, easy enough to use, though a torch is handy in the beautiful Kerela terrain. I loved this place and will return. Thanks to the management and staff for their kindness and professionalism, and for going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

The rooms at Moon valley cottage were spacious and tidy, with AC and a balcony. The best thing is how close it is to the beach, just a 2-3 minute walk along a peaceful path lined with plants. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The owner was supportive and happy to guide us. My family and I had a comfortable, memorable stay 🙂

The beach is only a short walk away, and the staff were friendly and easy to deal with. I found Moon Valley Cottage charming and comfortable for the price. A peaceful place to stay by the ocean, and I’d happily recommend it.
