The food was a highlight for me: there was a decent range, including local dishes and familiar choices, and everything I tried tasted fresh. I also felt safe there, and the cleanliness and management helped make the stay comfortable. The rooms were tidy, comfortable, and well looked after, with a peaceful feel that made it easy to unwind. From arrival, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and quick to help. The surroundings were pleasant too. I had a really nice stay at Opalo Kailas Kovalam and would recommend it to anyone after a relaxed break.

Our checkout was around 4 AM, but the staff still offered tea and helped with our luggage. Gokul was especially helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. The hotel is about 500 meters from the beach, so it was easy to get around and enjoy the area. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay, and the staff’s warm welcome and readiness to help made it even better.
