OYO 38562 Delma Residency

There was no hot water, though the rooms were spacious. I’d give it two stars for that. The price is cheaper, but hygiene is something to think about: I saw a lizard and other insects moving freely around the hotel.

We were given rooms 101 and 102, and the actual rooms were catastrophic compared with the photos. I’ve attached pictures. The walls were decayed, and the toilet doors had no locks. We booked AC rooms, but the ACs didn’t work. OYO cheated us by posting pictures of rooms with nice painted walls. I’ve filed a complaint with the consumer court about this.

I’m unlikely to come back. There were signs of bedbugs, the walls were dirty, and the rooms had very little furniture. The access was unattractive too. The bathrooms weren’t clean, and nothing was done even after I asked.

This lodge has been converted into an Oyo facility, and the staff seem to care very little about room quality. The door barely shuts and has just one latch. The AC, TV, and WiFi did work, as you’d expect when paying 1000 RS. The stay wasn’t comfortable and I wouldn’t suggest it for families. Maybe bachelors with time and patience to spend the night killing mosquitoes could manage.
