The hotel is inside the junction, so driving out during peak hours can be a real hassle, especially by car. Parking itself is ample. Rooms were neat, with water, soap, and shampoo, and the TV, AC, and fan all worked. The bathroom had salt water and stubborn stains, and the old lift could be a nuisance. Hot water was only available in the morning. I stayed for three days; breakfast was decent and tasted homemade. The restaurant serves veg and non-veg food, is open until 10 pm, and offers complimentary breakfast from 7 to 9. Reception, housekeeping, and security staff were courteous and helpful. Affordable, with decent features.

The rooms were okay, but the linen underneath the blanket was torn, leaving the mattress exposed. The chairs were battered with age and had been soldered, and they didn't provide the complimentary water. Apart from these minor annoyances, everything else was okay.

We've stayed at this hotel for nearly three years, but it's getting worse day by day. Maintenance is very poor, and the receptionist doesn't respond properly, which is frustrating. The washbasins in the restrooms are broken, and the hand faucets don't work at all.

I only stayed one night during a long drive, and the rooms and lawn setup were both good. The staff were courteous. After leaving, I realized I'd forgotten my headphones. I called the next day and was happy to hear they'd found them and kept them safe. I had no friends nearby to pick them up, so I asked them to courier them to me. They agreed and packed them really securely. The stay, their customer service, and the special help I requested all deserve five stars based on my experience. Thanks Hotel Velan International 😊

The breakfast buffet was good for the price, with no compromise on quality. The hotel has the facilities you'd need and is fitted with high-quality materials, with well-planned, spacious rooms, but upkeep is lacking. The lift wasn't working, which made it very hard for my parents to climb the stairs to the second floor. Basic things like that need attention. It could be a good-standard hotel with proper service and maintenance. For a budget stop during a drive, it may suit you if you don't expect too much.
