River site guest house

We were four friends and got one spacious room with two double beds and a clean bathroom. The balcony looked out toward the river. Food was affordable and home-style, and the owner was helpful with taxis and river rafting bookings. It felt like a home away from home on a budget. 🥰

The rates are genuinely good value, and room service is quick. I’ve stayed at this tidy, nice place a couple of times. It’s centrally located for tourist spots like Manali, Nagar, and Manikaran, and you can catch an auto just outside to reach Kullu Dusshera ground. I’d recommend giving it a try.

We booked a family room at this lovely guest house. It’s affordable, and the balconies and terrace have a beautiful river view. The one drawback is that they only serve tea and coffee, with no food available.

We found a good river view and nearby shopping, and had a really nice stay with tasty food from Anil. The room was ventilated, spacious, and clean, and the price through MakeMyTrip was very low. Anil, the caretaker, was lovely: he woke up at 5 AM to meet us at the roadside guesthouse gate, then served food we paid for with prompt service. The guesthouse is by the Beas river, opposite Punjab National Bank near Lakshminarayan temple in kullu akhara bazar. One issue is the wide main entrance: cars were parked in the entry corridor, and an industrial blade cutter was on the floor in the walkway, leaving little space to carry luggage.
